A tectonic fault
A tectonic fault line is when fractures in earth crust where rocks on either side of the crack slide past eatchother. Tectonic plates effect our daily life in shoo many ways. Plate tectonic past each other at a couple of inches a yea. Just by that it can make a difference. One of our affect was the Northridge earth quake. See know that earth was a big difference because some people had got to go through and may know how to be prepared. It was about 20 years and killed more then 60 people and injuring about 9,000.
